Heading up the Medical Advisory Board as Chief Medical Advisor is Dr. Tanya Remer Altmann, a UCLA-trained pediatrician, Clinical Instructor at the Mattel Children's Hospital, mom and best-selling author of "Mommy Calls." As a spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatrics, she communicates complicated medical issues into easily understood concepts for numerous news programs and talk shows including NBC's Today show. She has served on the board of the National Association of Medical Communicators and is currently on the executive board of the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Communications and Media.
